RHB Research expects the Johor–Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) master plan to be launched in December, and sees Johor as one of the main catalysts for Malaysia’s property sector. In a note reported on 12 October 2026, the research house kept its positive (overweight) view on property and pointed to strong sales in the southern region.
