RTS Link passenger service now expected in February 2027 | RTS 轻轨预计2027年2月通车

The Johor Bahru–Singapore RTS Link is now expected to start carrying passengers in February 2027. In a statement on 2 October 2026, operator RTS Operations (RTSO) said all system tests and trial runs are targeted to finish by 31 December 2026. The new timeline allows for the remaining works, an independent safety certification and approvals from both governments.

新山—新加坡 RTS 轻轨预计于 2027年2月开始载客。营运商 RTS Operations（RTSO）于2026年10月2日表示，所有系统测试与试跑目标在2026年12月31日前完成，新时间表已预留剩余工程、独立安全认证及两国政府批准所需的时间。

What we know so far 目前已知

• About 5 minutes between Bukit Chagar (JB) and Woodlands North (Singapore) 车程约5分钟
• Up to about 10,000 passengers per hour in each direction 每个方向每小时最多约1万人次
• Trains every 3.6 minutes at peak, running about 6am to midnight 高峰每3.6分钟一班，约早上6点至午夜
• Customs and immigration for both countries at the departure station, so you clear once 两国关检设于出发站，一次通关
• A linkway at Bukit Chagar connects to KTM Komuter and ETS trains 武吉查卡站有通道连接 KTM 通勤火车及 ETS

What it means for buyers 对买家的意义

The start date has moved by about two months, but the route and stations are unchanged. Homes within walking distance or a short shuttle ride of Bukit Chagar remain the main beneficiaries for daily Singapore commuters and for rental demand. If you are comparing projects near the RTS or with a shuttle to the CIQ, now is a good time to look before the line opens.
