The RTS Link between Bukit Chagar in Johor Bahru and Woodlands North in Singapore is now expected to start passenger service in February 2027. Malaysia’s Ministry of Transport and Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) said so in a joint statement on 2 October 2026. The earlier target was January 2027. Why the date moved为什么延期
The joint statement says the works in both countries are substantially complete. What remains is testing and commissioning. The operator, RTS Operations (RTSO), expects to finish final system tests and trial runs by 31 December 2026. An independent safety assessor must then certify the system. The fare: what we know票价：目前所知
There is no official fare yet. On 18 August 2026, Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the fare and the opening date would be announced jointly by Malaysia and Singapore, and that neither side would announce alone. Fare figures you may see online are estimates, not official. What changes for buyers对买家意味着什么

- Homes within 10 km. You still need a car, bus or shuttle to reach Bukit Chagar. The government plans at least 200 new buses from JB housing areas to Bukit Chagar under SBST 2.0, timed for the RTS opening (Bernama, 18 Aug 2026). - The Causeway stays busy. The RTS carries up to 10,000 people an hour each way. Singapore’s land checkpoints cleared more than 598,000 travellers on 19 June 2026 alone (ICA).
